May Travel News

May is such an exciting time of year, with graduation celebrations happening everywhere, summer vacations just around the corner, and many families finalizing their travel plans for the months ahead. If you have a graduate in your family, this is a wonderful time to celebrate with a trip together, whether that’s a theme park vacation, a cruise, or a special getaway you’ve been talking about for years.

Disney recently released several great promotions that make summer travel even more appealing:

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returns!
Tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (Aug 7–Oct 31) go on sale May 5th for Walt Disney World Resort guests and May 12th for all other guests. Party nights sell out every year, especially October dates, so if this event is on your list for 2026, I recommend planning early.

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Dates Announced!
The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will run August 27 - November 21, 2026. This is one of the most popular times of year to visit Walt Disney World, especially for adults, couples, and fall travel. If Food & Wine is on your list, booking early helps secure the best availability at resorts and party ticket nights.

Disney Cruise Line – Kids Sail 50% Off
On select sailings, the 3rd and 4th guests ages 17 and under sail for 50% off the voyage fare with two full-fare guests in the same stateroom — one of the strongest family cruise offers we see.

Walt Disney World – Cool Kid Summer
This summer brings new entertainment, kid-focused experiences, and extra fun designed especially for families visiting the parks.

Universal Orlando Summer Promotion
Universal vacation packages continue to include FREE dining cards (up to $1,000 depending on resort) when bundling hotel and tickets, a great way to offset food costs during your trip.

Onboard Credit

Every Disney Cruise Line vacation booked through me includes up to $1,000 in onboard credit.

Looking Ahead
Walt Disney World 2027 vacation packages are now open for booking, Summer 2027 Disney Cruise Line sailings are available, and Virgin Voyages is now booking through 2028, making this a great time to secure future trips while availability is strongest.

If you’re planning a graduation celebration trip, a summer vacation, or looking ahead to a future cruise, I’d love to help you take advantage of these offers while they’re available.

“To all who come to this happy place: Welcome.”
