Master Disney Lightning Lane & Big holiday news has officially dropped! 🎄

July Travel News

If you're feeling overwhelmed by the idea of hot days and long lines at Disney Parks, I've got you covered. Navigating the parks doesn't have to mean spending your entire vacation standing in a sea of crowds. With a few key strategies, you can master the parks!

  • Arriving at the park gates before official opening time AKA Rope Drop, can easily give you a few hours of low attendance and much quicker lines for headliner attractions before the midday rush hits.
  • It’s important to know that Disneyland and Disney World have completely different strategies for Lightning Lanes. What works in California will not work in Florida, so your approach needs to match your destination.
  • Rider Swap is incredibly helpful if you are traveling with young children, or children who simply aren't ready or tall enough to ride certain attractions. One parent waits with the child while the other rides, and then you switch without anyone having to wait in the full line twice.

To help you visualize how to conquer your next trip, I've enclosed my Walt Disney World Lightning Lane Master Overview download below!

🌟 Quick Accessibility Tip

For families navigating developmental disabilities or sensory sensitivities, lines are often the biggest hurdle. Beyond using Lightning Lanes to cut down wait times, keep in mind that Disney allows strollers to be tagged as wheelchairs if your child uses their stroller as a safe, calming space. This lets you keep them in their comfort zone right up to the boarding area of the ride. If your child has difficulty waiting in standard queues, reach out to me if you'd like my specific, step-by-step strategy for navigating the DAS interview or parks smoothly.

☀️ Disneyland Summer Ticket!

Speaking of beating the heat, Disneyland Resort in California just launched two unbelievable limited-time ticket offers that make a quick summer getaway incredibly budget-friendly:

  • Valid now through September 7, 2026, children ages 3 to 9 can visit both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for as low as $50 per child, per day with a special multi-day ticket offer. It’s an unbeatable way to see the parks while school is out!
  • Want to skip the blazing afternoon sun entirely? Disney just introduced a limited-time $59 Evening Ticket. Valid Sundays through Wednesdays from July 12 through August 5, 2026, it lets you enter Disney California Adventure starting at 5:00 PM or Disneyland Park starting at 7:00 PM. It is the perfect, low-stress option to enjoy cooler night temperatures and experience the massive Disneyland 70th Celebration nighttime spectaculars!

Note: Park reservations for both of these promotional tickets are pulled from a limited, separate bucket and will go fast. Let's secure yours before your preferred dates fill up!
